I am very excited to talk to you guys about the perfect travel kit by Herbal Dynamics Beauty.
You guys know before the coronavirus pandemic started, I was on a trip, to Europe nonetheless, but to our defense, it didn’t really start to get really crazy there until the day before we left. We had this trip planned long before we left so obviously we didn’t know how chaotic it was going to be. Anyways, we still had a great time and I finally got to go to Paris with my hubs!
But talking about the trip in itself will come much later, but right now let’s talk about this perfect travel kit. First of all I was so honored to have the opportunity to work with this amazing brand, which btw has its hq in Scottsdale so we basically live in the same town.
A LIL BIT ABOUT THE BRAND
You guys know I do love doing a little intro to the brands I try so you guys feel confident that I am giving you a good review overall. Herbal Dynamics Beauty mixes science with nature to create effective products for all skin types and concerns. Their products are cruelty free but also are sulfate, phthalate and paraben free. They have an amazing range of toners, cleansers, moisturizers, masks and serums, among other products at super accesible price points.
I have actually tried Herbal Dynamics Beauty products before and I loved them. Their Hyaluronic Acid 62% Hydrating Serum is so good (I even have a review of it here and here) as well as their Revitage Replenishing Squalane & Argan Oil Serum. So I knew these products were not going to disappoint.

I wasn’t surprised of how good these products were. But let me tell you, every single time I get on a plane I get at least one break out. At least. This time I got none. And add to that that there were multiple flights involved. That is usually a recipe for my skin to go ham. I started using this perfect travel kit a couple of days before the trip so that my skin would get used to them before traveling, because I am smart like that (kidding).
During the trip I used them every morning and night, and used the overnight mask a few nights a week. I used only 1/3 of the containers if not less, so I would say that what you are getting for the price is so so good.
Youth Refresh Strawberry Antioxidant Cleanser
I always like to really pay attention of how my skin reacts to cleansers. How my skin feels after and how good they help getting rid of makeup. This one feels so good and lightweight, the gel texture creates little to no foam but you feel like you are spreading a super smooth gel against your skin. It goes only a little milky while it removes the makeup.
Before cleansing at night, I remove my eye makeup with oil to avoid rubbing to much the eye area. But aside from that I do nothing else but use this cleanser and it works really well. I do like to make sure I massage my whole face with it for about a minute or so, and as long as I mix it with water, it doesn’t dry off. It also smells deliciously of strawberries, and you only need 3-4 pumps so this bottle has lasted a long time. Aside from strawberry oil that’s full of antioxidants, it also contains lycopene which is great for reducing inflammation and free radical’s damage.
Clean & Calm Cucumber Cooling Eye Cream
I feel like there is no better way to truly test the effectiveness of an eye cream than on a trip. You’re usually either waking up to early to see the sights, staying up late partying or just plain jet lagged. Well, I was waking up early and jet lagged so, I feel I can give you a true review. Well, I give this eye cream an A+. Not only did it completely got rid of the puffiness under my eyes, but also helped me to not look tired (which I was). It has an instant cooling effect that I was just looking forward every morning and night. And keeping this eye cream on the fridge or a cool place will only add to that instant cooling effect.
During the day, I don’t need a lot, but at night, I use extra because the creaminess feels too good. It has cucumber extract, squalane, collagen and peptide complex. These not only help with depuffing but also with diminishing fine lines, which I’ve noticed much less since I started using this cream.
Rose Water Calming Face Toner
I have been a fan of rose water for a long time so I was very excited to try this one out. Aside of rose essential oil, this toner has a mix of green tea, chamomile extract, witch hazel and aloe vera (all organic). And I mean if something makes me super excited is the mix of super good ingredients. Using high quality ingredients does make a difference, I can feel my skin drinking this up and instantly looking plump. It has helped diminish the redness of my skin and heal the dry patches. Aside from using it morning and night, I like to bring it to the pool, and it feels very refreshing! And did I mention that it smells amazing? Like you are in the middle of a garden of roses.
Hyaluronic Acid & Oat Recovery Mask
I have never used an overnight mask before so I was really excited to try it. It is super creamy, and I won’t lie the first time I used it I felt it was too heavy. But the next morning, omg, my skin couldn’t be any softer! It also looked so moisturized and not a single break out in sight (as you can probably tell by now, I am traumatized by break outs). Also, I usually wake up with a greasy face, but not when I use this mask. I was pleasantly surprised and now I use it once a week, specially when I feel like my skin is getting dry. Oat extract, hyaluronic acid, tremella mushroom and broccoli extract are just some of the ingredients of this mask, helping with hydration, reducing redness, fine lines and inflamation.
Prickly Pear & Vitamin C Daily Face Moisturizer
Now, you know that I am an oil-in-lieu-of-moisturizer lover but let me tell you, this moisturizer is absolute bliss! The part that I don’t like about moisturizers is that they feel so heavy against my skin. But this one, oh this one is the total opposite. It is so lightweight it makes it easy to spread around. It does not feel greasy, and most importantly it doesn’t leave my face shiny and doesn’t break me out. I have also noticed that my makeup looks really good when I have this moisturizer underneath. I sometimes mix it with my fave oil and used my facial tools, and I have found it a great addition to my routine. It has vitamin C, prickly pear, hyaluronic acid and watermelon extract, which help the skin to look young and avoid fine lines and fight anti aging concerns among other things.
I feel like this is the perfect travel kit to take for your travels and not need anything more. I will be taking it on many trips. Specially trips where you are only bringing a carry on or just want to keep things simple, which is something I do when traveling, knowing that you won’t compromise your skin or miss anything from your beauty cupboard.
