LHAMOUR NATURAL SKINCARE PRODUCT REVIEW

February 24, 2020 in BEAUTY, SKINCARE

I wanted to make this product review to show you some of the amazing products by this natural skincare brand called Lhamour. If you follow a bunch of other natural skincare and beauty accounts on Instagram, you might have already seen their products rolling around.

I tried one of their products for the #OBLClub by @organicbeautylover, but I was sent more products to try and review.

a lil bit about the brand

Lhamour is a natural skincare brand from Mongolia, where all their products are made by hand. Aside from making products with high quality ingredients from all over the world, they really care about the environment. They try to provide zero waste packaging (or no packaging on their stores) and are a socially responsible company.

The brand was created by Ms. Khulan, when she started to get allergies and rashes after when going back home to Mongolia. So she developed the brand to help herself, but later shared her products to help other people.

THE PRODUCTS

Lhamour carries a variety of oils, as well as some serums, body soaps, butters and lip balms. Not all of the products are vegan, so you have to check the ingredients before purchasing. A lot of the butters and soaps contain some animal ingredient so make sure to check them out first.

This time I tried their Coffee Body Scrub and the Healing Salve, aside from the Revitalizing Body Oil I already had.

Revitalizing body oil

Revitalizing Body Oil by natural skincare brand Lhamour

As a recent convert for all things oily in skincare, I was very excited to try this one. The scent is really invigorating, with lemongrass, sweet orange and lavender oil. I always apply it after a shower in lieu of body lotion and this one works perfectly. It absorbs quickly without leaving my skin greasy but at the same time moisturized. I have felt that during the warmer months I could actually smell the oil throughout the day. With all body oils, I like to apply it with wet hands to spread it more evenly. That way I use just enough without leaving an extra layer on the skin that won’t be absorbed. The bottle is a good size, and maybe in a glass instead of plastic container.

Coffee body scrub

Body Scrub by natural skincare brand Lhamour

I’ve always been a body scrub lover, so I was happy when I got this one. With a mix including coffee, Jamts salts and carrot oil, it is the perfect mix for the skin. Rubbing it over damp skin is easier to not waste a lot of product and not tugging your skin. Using this scrub for a massage before a shower helps get rid of dead skin cells, as well as eczema. It also improves circulation and diminish cellulite and stretch marks. I like to use it specially on my legs, hips and inner thighs where I have stretch marks and cellulite. After leaving it on for 5 minutes I rinse it with no soap so the oils keep absorbing onto my skin. After, my skin feels baby soft. The pouch is a very good size but again I’d like to see it in a plastic free pouch.

healing salve

Healing Salve by natural skincare brand Lhamour

I’ve been meaning to create a natural remedies cabinet instead of a medicine cabinet and this one is a perfect addition to it. This salve helps heal minor cuts, bug bites, rashes, and skin irritations. It has activated charcoal, thyme, rose hip and lemongrass oils, beeswax and beef and sheep tallow, making it non vegan. It is very buttery and you don’t need a lot, I recently used it on Lola, she had a little bug bite. After applying a little bit on her skin, by the next morning it was already almost gone. I haven’t tried it much yet but I am sure I will be needing it and so it is nice to have it handy.

All in all, I like the simplicity of Lhamour, its ingredients and products. I will definitely keep on using the ones I have and try some of the other vegan products.

You can check Lhamour’s website here and also follow them on Instagram here. You can also check the YouTube video I made of this review below.
