Are your daily outfits include basics at least 4 times a week? I know mine are. So naturally, I had to make a compilation of sustainable basics, that won’t break the bank. Finding sustainable fashion at more affordable prices has never been easier. You still won’t find a cotton tee for $3 and honestly, if that happens, it has defeated the purpose. We know better than that.
But let’s get back to the happy stuff. Since my closet has shrunk in size quite a lot in my efforts for a capsule style closet, I have realized something. Quality is so important. But also sustainability. But also, I solely focus now on pieces that I will use for many many years, in many different combinations. So basics play a key part of my closet, and in most of my day to day outfits.
I have been paying really close attention to what my favorite brands are releasing constantly and so here I am sharing with you the sustainable basics that I have been eyeing out. The reason why basics are such a good staple to have is because you can really use them in a bunch of different ways. And if you keep them in classy neutral colors, you can match them with basically anything else you have in your closet, elevating the number of outfits you can create.
Nowadays sustainable fashion is not compromising on style, which is something that I found was lacking in the past. So when I say basics, I don’t only mean the typical t-shirt, although I included those too. But I just find that different styles are great for different body shapes, sizes, and even moods, so I included different ones here.
