I think fall is the favorite season for most people. The changing color of the leaves, sweater weather and the holidays coming make it very exciting. Have you thought about what are your fall essentials for the ages? The ones that you use over and over again.
If I’m honest, I’m not so much of a fall person because I don’t like cold weather. In Oregon, it meant that shorter days and rain was coming. But one thing I have always loved is the fashion. As you know, I have been more conscious with my purchases and have mainly been purchasing only things that I will really use for years to come. Because I had too many winter clothes, its been about 2-3 years ago since I purchased anything. Naturally I am now over them. Most of my winter outfits aren’t making me happy at all. They are not in bad condition, I am just over them.
I am dreaming of what clothes and accessories I would love to have in my closet these fall, and that I would use for many falls and winters to come. By now I have discovered what my true style really is and now I feel more comfortable picking out clothes that I know I will be able to use in many outfit combinations and for many many years.
As always, I have picked items that are only sustainable and/or fair trade. So all of the brands I listed here have great philosophies and make great quality pieces make to last. In a way, a lot of this pieces would even work well together don’t you think?
