Ok my peeps! It has been long enough since I should’ve written this post. You may have seen me using the clean scents of with Grow Fragrance. And the truth is that it is one of my favorite things to do when cleaning my crib.
As you already know, my entire life is focused on living as toxic free as possible. Whether it is on my makeup, skincare, friendships, and home to name a few. So, after a lot of years of ditching toxic products, one that I missed was air freshener. I know that my house is clean when using non toxic products, but it doesn’t have a cute smell. It didn’t have any smell, not good not bad, it was something that I have gotten used to. But, clean smell is always appreciated.
And I have to note that even before I started going on toxic, I had always been extremely picky about air fresheners scents. The smell of cinnamon and apple, tahitian vanilla, etc. that are super overpowering, give me a headache.
about the products
Grow Fragrance contacted me first back in December, they where launching their new seasonal scent of fresh pine. They asked if I wanted to try it and share with my friends and followers. As I read about their products and how clean they where I was really amazed. They use only plant based ingredients and no phtalates, parabens, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins and synthetic petrochemicals.
Aside from that they are never tested on animals (a non-negotiable for me). They also avoid using essential oils that have sustainability issues. I mean, what?!? They are fully considering every aspect of the spectrum don’t you think?
So now that we have covered all the basics, you may be telepathically asking me:
But does it really smell good Luisa, or are you just playing with us?
Guys, they all smell like heaven. I told you already I’m so picky with scents, and I can no longer appreciate the scents of toxic products. Grow scents are just so pure and delicious but not overpowering. You can smell the freshness of the ingredients without any nasty “after smell”. They are just perfect.
I now use them every almost daily, specially when the house feels stuffy. And every time it fills the space with a clean scent that makes a room feel cleaner. Also after making the bed, I spritz it around the pillows and when we go to bed at night, it still smells amazing. Its a good version of heaven, if you ask me. Also I use them after cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming and to freshen up the smell of our closets.
the scents
They have some signature scents that are available all year round. These are Citrus Cedar, Bamboo and Lavender Blossom. I haven’t had the opportunity to try these, but judging from the ones I have tried, I am sure they smell amazing. They come in two sizes, 2oz and 5 oz. Aside from these, they have a signature scent every season. These are the ones I have tried and loved. All the seasonal scents come in 5 oz bottles, which translates to about 500 sprays, so umm that is kind of a lot of sprays. Good bang for your buck right there.
Pine forest
The first scent I ever got was Pine Forest, which was is the perfect scent for the holiday season. It truly smells like a forest full of pines and the scent lingers for a long long time. It definitely matches the festive season perfectly, and spritzing it on the living room where the Christmas tree adds an extras Christmas-y factor.
black currant rose
But now let’s move on to the scents that are currently available yes? The spring signature scent is the Black Currant Rose. It smells so blossomy, it doesn’t smell like old fashioned rose scent, it has more of a sexyness to it. Now, I have no idea of what black currant is, but it sure complements the rose scent reaaaaaally good.
sea salt neroli
As for the new summer scent, omg I do have to tell you that this one is my very favorite. It might be because summer is my favorite season. But really, if anybody asks how summer smells like to me, this is it. Sea Salt Neroli is bringing me so.much.joy. It reminds me of when that moment when you go on beach vacation and you go past the lobby into the pool with the music and the sun and the drinks and omg your vacay just started. I will probably will want to use it year round just to have some hope that summer will come back again. It says on the website it has hints of tropical orange blossom, fresh herbs and sea salt. Whoever came up with this combination is a freaking genious!
Now I can’t wait to see what other scents they come up with! I’m sure they will all be as awesome as these are. You can’t get yours through here (aff link)
