I am changing it and giving you a better and more information in this new version) This time I’m sharing my latest obsession from the Esteli collection. The ultimate natural face mask you need in your life. I am telling you, a good quality mask is a must to keep your skin on point. And this mask is just that.
the brand
I have talked many times about the brand in other posts, which you can check out here. But just as a recap, Esteli is a natural skincare brand made with the purest ingredients. The products are made in small batches in the US. Also, all the products come in glass containers, which is a great way to reduce waste. The fact that the environment doesn’t have to suffer so that my skin can thrive is key for me.
the mask
This mask comes in powder form, meaning you have to add a liquid,usually water, to apply it to your face. And if you want to give it an extra umph, you can use your face mist instead. Esteli recommended using their Coco Rosa facial toner and I have never looked back.
the ingredients
The ingredients are so pure and each of them helps your skin as much as the next:
- French pink clay aids in cell renewal, skin rejuvenation and elasticity, regenerates skin tissue, and minerals soften and help detoxify.
- Rose helps reduce redness, and its antibacterial properties help treat acne.
- Vitamin C helps protect skin from sun damage.
- Hibiscus helps increase skin elasticity, evens skin tone, and purifies and breaks down dead skin.
- Rosehips help to fade scars, even skin tone and minimize wrinkles.
All these ingredients give it a pinkish hue and the powder is very fine which makes it perfect for exfoliation.
how to use it
To prepare the mask you mix 1/2 teaspoon of the powder with your liquid of choice to form a paste. It is that easy. I like to use this lil bowl and spoon to mix mine, and I never use any metal tools. Then you apply it, leave it on for a few minutes and before it dries completely, rinse it off. After that, you use your toner and oil or moisturizer and that is it. As soon as I apply it, I immediately notice that it starts absorbing the excess oil from my pores. I see little dots everywhere. While I have it on I like to spritz my face with more toner to keep it from drying. This gives the mask a little more time to work its magic. And as a bonus I massage in circular motion while rinsing for an extra exfoliating factor. Boom!
One thing to note, because the mask contains clay you don’t want the mask to dry completely on your face. It can dry out your skin, and we don’t want that. This applies to all clay masks.
the results
Since I started using it, my skin feels rejuvenated and clean and much healthier. It is definitely a game-changer. I even notice my foundation looks way better when I use it before doing my makeup. So every time I have a special event or need my makeup to look flawless, I use this mask first.
With my skin being sensitive you know I have to be careful about ingredients, even natural ones, but I haven’t had any bad reactions to it. I have in fact noticed that my skin is much less oily and my pores look smaller when I use it consistently. And combined with the Coco Rosa facial mist and the Oro Rosa facial oil, my face now has more of a healthy glow.
Simply put, this is the perfect natural face mask for detoxing your skin and giving it the perfect glow up. It is effective but zero aggressive. It is the perfect multi-tasker as it works as an exfoliant as well. The ingredients, as pure as they can be, as with any other Esteli product.
